Greetings all, as August comes, and the crickets sing loudly, and the robin on top of my chimney calls to us morning and night, telling us she has babies again.... American robins sometimes have three broods per summer.

I am hoping you are all well. I have been busy spinning, and washing some fleece, and I also sent some away to be processed, because my carpal tunnel is not something that makes it easy to do a lot of washing and combing of fleece.

One of our members has just had an episode with a scammer. Always be very cautious when approached with any offer that seems a little off. I always know when they say "we will send our own shipper to pick up the merchandise" a real give away. And if they every ask you to prepay shipping this is another clue that it's a fraud. Please just always be very careful. These creeps are all over the internet including watching this list for some poor unsuspecting victim.

5/17. Hi all. I saw the most amazing sight...a Bluebird on our feeder today. I hope that it's not a transient migrating bird on its way to some other home, and that it finds it hospitable and nice here in my yard. It was such an amazing color of blue.

So, in reading the notes, Janet is right. It's very trying to have to look up email addys for those who do not realize they need to include them in the ads they place. So, please remember to do this so that you don't miss that sale.!

The question I need an answer to is what are your favorite kind of Wool combs? Do i want English Combs, or Russian Paddle combs, and how many rows of tines? I spin mostly fine fleeces, merino, cashmere, Alpaca, Shetland, Bond.... so nothing in the grease, and nothing heavy or coarse. KBruce57@gmail.com , please.

3/27 Robins are here, but the weather is still windy and cold. Sugar is not running this week, but maybe it will later in the week. We need a few degrees above 32, and some sunshine....sugaring weather!
